Unemployment
Looks like I've given up on looking for work now, its not like anyone's gonna hire for 5 weeks. I guess I wasn't supposed to work this summer. I'll just clean up around the house (theres a lot of that left) and do whatever comes up. I'm just waiting to hear back for some volunteer work, which is taking an awfully long time for them to reply. I guess in a way I got what I wanted to do last summer for this summer, which was ref soccer games, however, that doesn't give me enough money or work experience. I'm so tired of this looking for work crap, I can't get the good jobs that I'm qualified for cause there aren't enough of them, I can't get the crappy jobs cause I'm over qualified, even after I cut out half my resume. I'm even ever so slightly pissed off at the fact that somehow its socially acceptable that girls readily get jobs at men's clothing stores, but its socially unnacceptable for guys to get jobs at girls/girls clothing stores. I bet its cause they're a blonde/brunnete and nothing more, its all for the showyness or eyecatchingness effect they can have on guys to come in to buy things.
I sprained my right ankle last Thursday reffing a soccer game, its tensored up now, waiting for it to heal, I went for physio yesterday, not sure if it feels any better.
I went to a piano concert Tuesday, my (former) piano teacher's great grandson is 16, heading off to England for a special music school, he's also headed for stardom, holy smokes, he was amazing! He played like a professional adult! Not only did he get a standing ovation, lots of ppl asked for an autograph.. lol... I told his mom afterwards I'll be waiting to buy his CD's.
Since I'm not making money, I can't spend much money, fortuneatly anything I've gotten thus far has been like half price, like these 3 shirts I got at American Eagle, that's right, I got them in the clearance rack, I don't care, I got a good deal on good looking clothes. Speaking of which CampusCrew is gone, bankrupt I hear, their sister company Joggers is gone too, so yeah I think American Eagle is my new CampusCrew.
