Yow-ow-owza!
What have I been up to? This is a question many of you may ask. Well, now I am here to answer!
On Friday, I spoke for the
Michigan College English Association 2005 conference titled Facing Conflicts: Culture Wars, Teaching Values, Coping with the War in Iraq & Social Conflict.
Session 3B. Antonio accompanied me, reprising the role of Blue which he originated
in the June 2005 production of Joshua's Play. We read the last
scene of JP, and I spoke a bit about it, and fielded a few
questions. Then Ron Reikki had a few monologues of his read, and
then a fiction writer read a piece she had written. The crowd
loved it. LOVED IT.
So.
My play is now being taught at the University of Arizona as part of
some english class. The prof who teaches this class is trying to
get UofA to pay to bring the panel down to present. We're
applying to the NCEA National conference in San Antonio. We may
be invited to Grand Valley. We're going to some Midwest Cultural
thingee.
