Summer time

Summer is turning out to be great so far. I've got my new car to enjoy, Emmy and I just got new couch and loveseat set for our apartment, and she has done an awesome job cleaning up and organizing the place so that it looks fantastic. I have played a good amount of soccer, about once a week, although I would and should play more. I have gotten to hang out with my brother a bit, not just at work, but going to soccer together and playing the XBOX. Our trip with Emmy to Willits and Fort Bragg was also very nice and relaxing.

I just got a haircut and got rid of the heavy curly hair I had. I feel a lot more comfortable now, especially since it is summer and so hot. I have done some swimming too, but not a lot. I have started to eat a little better, but still need to improve quite a bit. I am more careful with my finances now that I have to make car and insurance payments. I've also signed up for 401k so that I start saving money for the future and I should probably also invest in some stocks, but need to learn more about the market and growing companies first.

It is now very early, 5:37am, and I am about to leave for work, which is also going alright, despite the beaurocracy within and the possible layoffs. The layoffs and slow down should not affect our department too much, other than receiving low bonuses and such.

That's it for now, but summer still has some time left to enjoy before fall comes when I will be a full-time MS degree student in addition to work.
