That time of the year....

It's allergy season and while the rain had prevented the allergy from kicking in, the recent two weeks of sunshine have sparked it off with a vengeance. It is one of the reasons I am up at this time awake, updating this forsaken thing.

Anyways, since I have nothing else to do and they are keeping me away, I might as well say a few things. I am trying to buy a car soon. I am looking into low price, since I don't earn too much right now, and good gas mileage. I've considered a Honda Civic 2005/2006, a Honda Civic Hybrid and the popular Toyora Prius. And while the last one can get 60mpt city/50mpg highway EPA estimates, the cost of the car is over 20K and repair for hybrids is on the high side. In addition, hybrids are in their initial stage are not yet perfected. The regular Honda Civic seems good and has slightly lower mileage than the Hybrid counterparts. However, its price is over 18K for a 2005 and over 21K for 2006.

SO,

I've stopped on Toyota Yaris. "What the hell is this?" you are probably asking. It's the first time this model has been introduced into the US and it's a 2007. It has been around in Europe and Japan for a few years now and in the US only as Toyota Echo. It's compact but with very sleak design, especially the sedan, and the sports edition is even very cool and modern. There is plenty of room on the inside and the interior is great. Depending on features selected, the price can vary between 14K-17K which is definitely affordable. I am really hooked on the car and Emmy really likes the hatchback edition. She is the one that pointed the Yaris to me after seeing it on a commercial. My response was: What the hell is Yaris?

I also resumed playing soccer now that the weather is dry and have worked out and ran a few times. I am really going to stick with losing weight and getting in shape this time.
