It's done!
I fianally finished my tax statement for 2006. Thank God. It was the most complicated one I had to do so far and it took forever. Now it's done and I will mail it off to the tax authority tomorrow. In about eight weeks I will hopefully see a tax refund of almost 5,000 euro and - what's even more important - a tax loss carry-forward for 2007 of 13,000 euros. So I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'll not have to get toe to toe with the tax authority over this. *snorts* Yeah, right...
On other news I am off for the rest of the month to work on my doctorate, which is driving me nuts. If there's someone out there who is an US securities lawyer with experience in employee benefit programs, especially employee stock purchase and employee stock option programs and is willing and able to give me some pointers as for materials, I'd be really greatful to hear from you. But I' be interested in hearing from people who participate in such programs offered by their employer, too.
Now, I'll take another pill for my hay fever and then go to bed and try to get some sleep. My allergy is really killing me this year. Because of the warm and sunny weather of the last couple of weeks birch pollen is flying like crazy this year. It's awful. *sneezes*
