Really quick update before I throw my samples in the freezer and head home to enjoy my long weekend (Labour day holiday tmr)
Parents went out for dinner with their old classmate/friends last night, so I bought a bunch of food back for me and my sis's dinner. Sushi and desserts from a Japanese bakery! Yummy!
Salmon belly sashimi! Wahahaha!
Yeah, I know the Japanese themselves hardly eat salmon. But we love it anyway. Air flown from Norway! Just love that oily texture. It's also the most readily available sushi/sashimi here. Not that I don't like the other fish, but it's harder to get good quality/fresh sashimi of other fish in sg.

That... multi layer cake.... cake, cream, cake, cream... They call this "White Zetsu".
