my 9 year old or so black lab is a good dog, she's calm, obedient, and comes when you call her name. the only problem with her is that she is an old dog and doesnt really play catch or tug of war. it makes sense that becuase of her age and deteriating body she doesnt have the enegery to do so. so tonight i was playing with bella my family's new puppy by playing tug a of war using this stuffed bear. so she had it in her mouth and i was yanking on it, and then came by and i handed it off to her and she totally took hold of it with her mouth and continued to play tug of war with bella. it was great like really great. it was like seeing a decrippled old woman geting out of her wheel chair and running around the house. she did this for close to 20 minutes, with moments of her resting inbetween the next round of tug of war. Yeah, it made my night.
