U.S. Virgin Islands

The U.S. Virgin Islands are located in the Caribbean, east of Puerto Rico. The three main islands are St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John. The land area of the three is roughly 737 square miles and the population is 110,000, as of 2012. One of the main tourist attractions is the beaches; when visiting here, please make time to visit a few of them.

Of the three main islands, St Croix is the largest; it has exceptionally diverse topography that includes: mountains, rainforest and fertile coastal land. The second island is St Thomas; this island is the most cosmopolitan of the three and is a popular port of call for various cruise lines. The least developed island is St. John.
