Yesturday I went grocery shopping w/ mom at the nearby HEB. Can i just say that they have the hottest guys ever working there? Seriously, most (if not all) of the guys who work there are super cute. Not only that, some of the customers are fucking hotties as well. In particular, there was this ubber butch white guy who looked so yummy-licious. He's the normal guy type of... uh, guy, who has the whole bad boy thing going. Backwards cap and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a tattoo here and there.
Though I can't verify if he was indeed looking at me a lot, his eyes did drift towards my direction lots, which of course made me happy. There was no way I could just walk up and talk to a guy that hot, but I was hoping he would approach me. Atlas, he didn't. Le-Sucks!
Soon after, we went to Ludge's house. We were supposed to go see Jackass 2, but neither of us felt like it, so we postphoned it to later today. We pretty just chilled at his house. Today, I just played more of Okami. This games keeps getting better and better!
Don't know which one I want more. PS3 isn't even in the picture only because it's waaay too expensive. Doesn't mean i don't want to get it, which I will eventually, just not this year. I'm juggling between X-Box 360 and Wii and no, I really don't want to get both.
Nintendo Wii
Inspite of all my bitching and moaning, I'm actually debating about getting this system. The concept is pretty fun, but the lack of interesting games severely hampers my dicision to purchase it. Not to mention the horrible graphics. It would have solidify my dicision if the graphics would get a massive overhaul, even if it meant that it will cost a little more. The only reason I'm debating on getting this is because some games have peaked my interest. I'm talking about Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3, and Sonic Wildfire. On the other hand, just like the 2 previous Nintendo consoles before it, there will be a lot of games for the kiddies that I will not be cought dead w/. Most of the upcoming games are just too emberassing to show to my friends, and even I wouldn't give them a chance. Mario Galaxy looks very un-Mario. Do people actually still buy 3-D mario games?!? Needless to say, the only multi-player game my friends and I would get together to play would be Smash Bros, but even then.... i don't know. Big Ludge made a great point when we were talking about which system I should get and I told him I was leaning more towards the Wii just a bit. He said, "The Wii does look like it could be fun... but then again, it is Nintendo." A good point indeed.
X-Box 360
The graphics looks really good and it has everything a next-gen console should, exept this whole new motion-sensing thing that seems to be all the rage these days. That is a bummer, but at least the games look killer and they are the type that I would get. Lost Planet looks like a must-play, and Mass Effect couldn't catch my interest any more. Dead Rising is also a game I'm dying to play, pun-intended. Not to mention, all these games I wouldn't mind showing off to my friends and they will actually play w/ me, I can garanteed you that. The bad side? There will proabably be a shortage of good games soon after that. Don't get too exited though, Nintendo. You're having a shortage of interesting, must-play games already. What's next after Mario, Metroid and Zelda? Uhm, more Mario, Metroid and Zelda? Sounds pretty lame to me. In this aspect, both systems are tied.
In Conclution...
Hmmm, before typing this, I was leaning more towards getting a Wii, but now, after typing all of that, I'm starting to drift more towards the X-Box 360. While both of these systems are fine in their own aspects, I think the PS3 will eventually shine on top, once again.
And now, I'm off to go search for music for my new Punk CD.
