=+= You never see a G.I. die =+=
Take a step back and point out all those stars you feel should burn out for this night, just another dark ocean, a feather to the wind. and this freezing salty breeze is just another phantom to your face. So erase this midnight sky and bring it back to a place so familiar. Every turn of the corner is just a redundant statement and I know I write these directions wrong. Its gotten so old and been so long and does it really matter if I’ve named these names a thousand times and seen every shooting star fall twice behind the sparkle of your eyes. I know this gets old sometimes, but in all reality 50 year old photographs are far more better than played out western towns. Raise your head and sing along to all the stars you feel should shine brighter, being now safer in the dusty valley than you could ever be out at sea. But moon rises and sunsets glowing means everything when solitude is all you have left, holding wooden nickels in front of this dark night back ground. These directions seem a bit aged when you’ve traveled these roads a million times before. But maybe its about familiarity, and mostly just about feeling right at peace. Lie back and point out the stars.
