Finding Things
Well as previously expected MySpace has become a waste of space...it had potential but it seems to have turned into a how many people can i get on my friends list contest. Not only that, to view peoples post you have to go through so much red tape and it sucks. It might be becuase LJ is my first blog or just that its much cleaner and simpler but myspace just doesnt do it for me.
Well I have a bunch to post and it might get slightly annoying reading through it all but thats what MySpace will do to you.
So into the entry itself..as many people know who actually read this I was in APG,Maryland being trained in my MOS or military occupational specialty. My MOS is 2171 and basically i make things to go boom go boom in the right place. I fix the optics and some of the more sensitive gear in a lot of pieces of equipment and its easy for me to keep it simple then delve into it. After completing that schooling which i believe was roughly around 4 to 5 months I arrived back to NH. Im now stationed up at a reserve unit in Mass. Just last weekend I was up there doing my job and fixing equipment, i must say i find it quite humbling working with my hands and making things work again. That must be why i got into the whole computer guru thing and tried to figure out as much technology so I knew how to troubleshoot like everything.
Nothing really huge has happened in my life id have to say Senior Year/Summer had all the big events. The most recent thing would be me graduating from Aberdeen, proud i was and also fucking glad to get the hell out of APG. Cool developments when it comes to friends, Eric is leaving for Parris Island on the 30th cant wait for him to recieve his EGA and be a Marine after graduating boot camp. I of course have life plans all of them within reach its all up to me basically. Small goals that require a room mate and me buying a car. Know what they are yet? No? Well it would have to be getting a steady job that would allow me to get my own apartment hopefully in Dover or close by. Also get my goddam license, I know pathetic I still havent gotten it :(. Life really seems to have come to a stand still there are options available but I have to make some sacrifices and hope they pay off. Im not really the type who cares about throwing themselves out there though so not really all to worried. I still so want to take a road trip for me its so relaxing to just be in the woods something about it just work for me. Got to hang out with Jess and Andrea the other night we ended up at Busters played some pool then just went on a random night drive which was fun. Oh yeah cant forget the run to the dollar store that was interesting never knew that store was there or that you could still buy trail mix for a dollar. My bike got its summer tune up and dont really know if anyone remembers how my seat got stolen. But I got one that actually fits instead of just slamming my bike on the asphalt and forcing one in temporarily. May or may not get back into mini movie making, one of Andys friends Ilene(sry if spelled wrong) was talking about making a movie and it brought back many a memory lol. If anyone has any scripts or would like to mb start a project I would be more than happy to lend a helping hand.
On the subject of finding things, isnt it odd how you find things in various places that you thought you had misplaced or thrown away. It seems like most of the time they unlock memories that had long been stored and forgotten about. Something as small as a toy or even a piece of paper with something scribbled on it. It always sends me into this flashback type deal where I zone out and everything around me transform into the memory and I relive the memory. Its an odd feeling and affects the emotions and overall mood of the day.
Last thing I will say is I really want to do like a beach party BBQ thing with as many people as possible and to make it more interesting everyone brings a friends type of deal. Make its easier to meet people and the enviorment would be laid back and fun. I might have to get someone from like Bristol NH to come down but if anyones interested in that give me a ring or just post in here. Yeah and the cell is (603)953-3533.
