Holiday summary:

Friday 16th - Goodwood Revival which is a classic car festival as a birthday present for my lovely (plus parents) - great day out, racing, shopping, lots of people dressed in period costumes, picinic lunch

Saturday 17th - Shopping locally

Sunday 18th - My parents

Monday 19th - He had an interview (didn't get the job but it was fricking miles away anyway!). I just did some housework and chilled.

Tuesday 20th - Eye test (I find this very stressful as I had a scary health problem with my eyes a few years ago, but all is ok still) and bought new glasses which I am now wearing and they look cool!

Wednesday 21st - Day of total rest (we like these!)

Thursday 22nd - Whipsnade Animal Park, where I stood less than one metre from a Sumatran tiger for about 10 minutes. It was amazing! Then some bastard schoolchildren disturbed him and he walked off in a huff. Also saw rhinos, giraffes, various primates, wolves, bears, and loads more - it's pricey, but well worth it!

Friday 23rd - Finally sold the volvo, dropped it off for the guy and spent the rest of the day in my old home town of Woking, had quiet weekend followed by...

Final week - Paris on the Eurostar - I had never been to Paris or on the Eurostar and it was brilliant - our hotel was really near the Eiffel Tower, and we did everything - the Louvre, Pompidou Centre, Notre Dame, museums, cafe's, strolling, shopping - totally knackering and I slept all weekend, but such a great time and of course, tres romantique ;o)

So this is a totally lazy entry as there is loads of info I could give and bore you all to tears, but that's it in a nut shell!

I am back at work now, and for the first time ever feeling good about it. I like my job!
