news from florida
Hello all. My time with internet is very short so this will probably be pretty short.
Florida is gorgeous. The sunshine, the clouds, the palms. All beautiful.
The rain is horrendous though, and working in it is no fun at all.
My cousin doesn't have many friends and so i'm often stuck here at the house with the rest of my insane family.
My job is pretty cool. I've dug ditches, poured concrete, operated heavy machinery, and sweated my already tiny ass off.
Today we installed a massive generator with a 2000 gallon diesel tank, and then pulled some wires. Pulling wires is the worst, it's the biggest pain about the job. The goal is to feed a long inch thick cable through a series of pipes. This cable takes all of my strength to bend, It's really heavy.
We went up to Ocala for a weekend. It was highly enjoyable. Four wheelin' around the palmettos that grow all around, and just kicking back. There was also a sign with E.T. wearing a seatbelt that said "buckle up." cool stuff.
