Don't laugh but,
I've never thought myself to be all that impulsive until last weekend.
I was having an absolute craptastical day at work (explaining my last post), with an tremendous exodus of customers practically lining up and rudely telling me how to do my job. Others instead thought it reasonable to scream in my face, slam the counter with crazy force repeatedly, indirectly threatening me to do what he wanted me to do and almost sending me into tearful rage (trust me, I was so close!). Since I'm not paid enough to deal with that sort of disgusting, pitable excuse of a human being, I left the guy halfway through his screaming fit/power trip and got my boss to deal with it, who seemed to think that I should be perfectly ok being treated like that and did not even approach the guy on his behaviour. (My 3rd in Charge and surrounding staff thought otherwise thank goodness).
I digress a little. Whoops. Anyway, not long after that, I'm called into liquor under a security alert. Just what I really needed -____- I get there and lo and behold, a drunk bloke was stupid enough not only to buy alcohol when he was obviously trashed, but tried to steal a bottle of expensive whatever in the back pocket of his jeans AND was drinking it in the process. He insists that it was his and I begin a rather long conversation as to why believe it isn't whilst refusing service and all that stuff you're not interested in. Whatever, he eventually starts just briskly walking away!!
Calmly (but still in my 'I'm really pissed off' voice) I followed and called out VERY LOUDLY HOPING *SOMEBODY* *SOMEWHERE* would try and play hero and stop the idiot. Obviously all the would be heroes stayed at home, washing their hair most likely (which explains the harrowing exodus of stupid customers from before) and I started to run after the bloke, who now saw me chase him and picked up the pace.
I was amazed at everyone who just stared. Here is a little supervisor girl with the consitution of a wet paper bag running after a big muscular drunk holding a rather large bottle of grog who (not that I thought about it at the time) could easily wallop me back into the 90's.
I gave up though, again pulling the 'I'm not paid enough to deal with this rubbish' and that was that. There I stood, Kathryn, Almightly supervisor of Woolworths; The Humble Saviour of the people when the fridge blew up, threatening hundreds; Kathryn, The Brave Messenger sending a highly embrassing letter to a certain person who will no doubt use it as blackmail in the slim chance I become famous xD; Kathryn, The Ever Curious Fool who once entered a chilli eating contest, ate the Dark overloaded Prawn Chip of Dire Calamity +10 and some goat just for the hell of it;

The next day at work, quite a few people did the whole "Hey, I heard you chased a guy down the street etc" and in the midst of laughing about it (I had a day to cool down, so the whole thing was funny now xD) was often told I was an idiot for doing so considering I was putting myself in danger. Maybe I'm just going troppo in my 'old' age. I always thought I was the kind of person that would think these things through before charging out and improvising. I don't know. I can't even remember what my point was after all this xD
I blame college personally. It made me go funny. For the best though? *shugs*
In other news, I've started to clean up my computer which is taking forever. I also decided to catch up on Naruto, only to discover that Dattebayo is (most likely) going to stop subbing it in favour of the legal subs coming out. While I really do admire their desicion (interactii's press release post made me happy :D), it is still ironic that I will still have to obtain the new eps through 'illegal' means since the site that Viz is streaming them through is only availible to the USA (I HATE YOU REGIONS! FIRST PERSONA 3 THEN PERSONA 4!!! KGHSFJL GHAHAHLARGHL ahem, sorry about that). So if anyone knows of a good place to obtain a reliable, easy and 'hacking-for-complete-stupids' friendly USA proxy, that would be great. It is also ironic that after all this, from the bottom of my cold cold heart, I really do hope that someone else picks Naruto up. I just want to see Team Hebi/Snake/Taka/Hawk/Sasucakes in anime plzkthx. I've also re-read the entire series, which I assure you, is no easy feat xD
