Ok so I got a little messed up. Nick USA did not show a new episode of avatar. Sadness.
BUT!!1..... There was a 'New York Comic Con' thing over the weekend and very many avatards, like myself, tried to listen in a livestream of the whole shimozzle. I had to go and work all of yesterday, so I missed it, but at least I got some funnies out of it xD
I don't know which made me laugh more, the smash brothers Ness move, or 'Princess_Sasuke' xD Ahhh it reminds me of the good ol' days of World of Warcraft and I wanted to completely eleminate the FRiGGIN' IDIOTS!! people who posted like that everywhere on the channels and I could figure out how to ignore them properly x_X.
The internts kiled ma lnguge. srly.
and now I've gone an joined a CAPSLOCK community. Something is terribly wrong with me *shocked face!*
But that aside, even though I'm heaps late, I'm really glad I joined the avatar fandom before it all ended. Personally, I blame Australia my my delayed entrance into the avatar fandom with the fact that it insists upon releasing the DVD's so outrageously slow (I mean it! We have only just got the third disk for season 1, whilst the US are having a ball with their Season one, two and half of season three boxsets.)
It's like the end of Harry Potter, and although we both left on very bitter feelings *screw you 19 years later!!!1* looking back I did enjoy all the OMFG rumours!! ZOMG SPOILERS! OMFGISFG CANON!! R/HR FOREVER!! H/HR PURE LOVE! OMG SNAPE KILLS... well you get the idea :)
It's nice to get back into some kind of fandom (that isn't animanga for once xD although avatar *almost* is...) with all the shipping wars, wild theories, terrible fanfiction (I don't read it by the way, I just know it exists) and when there's something with an interview, a teaser or a whole comic convention, everybody goes *squee* with everything going on. It's just a bucket load of lovely really. The kickarse bit about starting something late is that I can pretty much watch a chunk of episodes without all the cliffhanger business.
I ship Zutara by the way, like, a lot xD and even when I thought I'd realise that there'd be NO chance of love and that it'll end with Kataang (O_o), the videos from the con have kicked me in the stomach with most likely out of context scenes of Zutara and anti Kataang. I also have never laughed so damn hard in my life xD
That's one major thing I love about this show. The writers have done their homework on fanfiction and the whole shipping war thing and have totally played the whole fandom with it. Hooray for evil writers with humourous intentions xD
Meh, I'll leave it at that. I don't think any of you guys cared about my avatar rant or even knew what I was going on about anyways xD Heh Heh.
In other news, we lost at soccer today. Bad things happened. That's all I can say really, except for AMY COME BACK TO US FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! G-UNIT MISSES YOU AND YOUR FEET *pines with extreme woe*
