hello all!!
the easter long weekend was FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!
i actually did *nothing* the whole time, which contrary to popular belief, i really don't do a lot of xD usually my weekends are fraught with boring work and aggravating customers, but i didn't have to work at all this weekend (save for the four hours on saturday, c'mon it's just four hours :D) as woolies was closed on both friday and sunday!! it was fully superb.
apart from going for a run here and there (which mind you was lovely, going around the quiet holidaying suburb) i sat and made the best of our former-optus-we've-now-merged-with-foxteldigital tv. flooded by a myriad of new channels, i immediately made a beeline for the comedy channel and you guessed it, watched whose line :D
my weekend was rather simple. i watched the easter mini marathons of 'Touched by an Angel' on the women's channel (it might be better if you didn't ask...:P) then caught the encore screenings of the whose line mini marathons on comedy2. yes i spent the large portion of my mini break either crying from the touching smosh that is TbaA or crying of laughter from WLiiA xD
then in the late afternoon i'd either run, nap or play either prince of persia: sands of time (for the jabillionth time mind you xD) or Final Fantasy X, of which i'm so so so so close to beating T_T
sure i have a large bucket of many hard things to do, but having the weekend off was really nice.
either that or it was incredibly boring and my inner social being has just died a very excruciatingly slow and painful death. hmmmmm. who knows?
also a mega-super-dooper-chocolate-fudge-sugar-and-sparkles-coated happy birthday to our dear dear friend aimzea who joins the ranks of the elders-to-be after turning a whopping 19 years old today. feel free to tease her at your own leisure ^_^
in other news, i have never seen so many hyphenated words in my life :S
