I wanna be the very best, that no one ever was...
Remember I applied for that job last week and I was all "OOOMMGGG!" and hyperventilating and going bonkers? Well, they called me on Monday and asked for an interview this Friday! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I'm crazy stoked!
I've been making sure it was always ready should a opportunity to show it came up and my portfolio is pretty much up to date as it is. I just have to make sure I don't lose my cool tomorrow in front of everyone xD
If I could get this job it would be awesome. It's in Darlinghurst but not 5mins walk from Kings Cross Station. It's a small enoough company (7-8 people tops) that they probably couldn't afford me to go get coffee or do stupid jobs like that: I'd be working on good, real-life stuff, I'll be working full time (more money whooo!) and it seems like a really friendly place. An Auntie of one of the 3rd years at Wesley apparently used to work there until recently - she got a job at channel 7 or something..? - and she said that her Auntie really loved the place. Small world huh?
So today I'm pretty much making sure I'm ready for tomorrow. I'll definitely let you know how I go with it all.
Summer Soccer started up last night and it was good to play again despite it only being 45mins for the whole thing. Crushed the other team 4-1. I also played Goalie for the second half (we're all rostering a half each, figured I'd do my time early :P) and did ok. Let a goal in, but saved all the others... :D

In other news, with all the gritty, bleak and "real world" reboots of movies lately, I thought this fan made trailer just nailed it. The nostalgia and black humour tugs at my heart strings. I have a soul again.
