So I've run into a few road-blocks with the whole Gordon plan. Trying to find an apartment on the North Shore isn't easy. I've gone through all the classifieds and nothings really turned up (all Gordon housing has been full, not surprisingly, for months. I just didn't really know what I was doing, and, thus, lost out there).

I've got a friend who lives in Boston whose uncle works at the school, and I just got that guys's phone number. For some reason I'm pretty sure he's going to come through for me. But if he doesn't, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do.

As you can tell by the last entry, I've been listening to a ton of Coldplay lately. I also purchased my first copy of the Brandenburg.

Currently reading (probably shouldn't be) Lolita and Rudolph Boltmann. Boltmann is interesting and I can see why he'd be important for discussing more liberal protestant theology, but, you know, he's just not doing it for me. There's this minor problem in this thinking: Boltmann's pretty adament about worshiping a God that doesn't interact with the world in any meaningful way and, from what I can tell, never will (no eternal life). Boltmann tries so hard to put God on a pedestal (the Living God doesn't need to be put on a pedestal) that He ends up being your basic deistic god.

Lolita, in short, is about a pedophile. Yet it's still an amazingly well written book. None the less, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 'Nough said.

I'll see all of you for a couple days when school starts.
