Events of the weekend (which I've decided includes V-Day)

Feb 15, 2005 11:37

So despite a low point or two in the past couple of days, it was very fun over all. Here's some of the highlights:

Friday:
1) The ride up with three of my favorite girls.
2) Scott's mom's super delicious foods that I got to eat.
3) Finally got to play some good Taboo (see number 4 below). Team A is for Awesome.
4) Scott: "He just got ousted." Carolyn: "Aaron?"

Saturday:
1) Beth being the greatest sports photographer ever!
2) The big JMU Pirates "Surrender your booty" poster up in the stands.
3) Aaron beating an A-rated fencer in Epee!!!
4) John: "...so I called a time out and talked to myself for 30 seconds."
5) The "Whoop-whoops" after every point in my first DE.
6) Threats on the judge's life, and Aaron's outburst on my behalf during my second DE
7) The most supportive girlfriend ever, who watched and cheered during ever single one of my 12 matches during the day (and for coming through with a most important sandwich when I was starving!)
8) Winning a medal for coming in eighth place in men's foil for the conference.
9) Emma Fyffe: "Chocolate x 10,000!!!"
10) Watching "Hitch" with the best club ever (minus a few key members, aka Hillary and Rich)
11) Getting a secret pet named after me. Debbie and Carolyn: "Clarence!!!"
12) Nicole: "...a handful of fun!"

Sunday:
1) Watching Nicole, Emma, and Beth kick ass against people that had most certainly had more practice with their weapons
2) Half the girls making it to DE's in their first tournament ever, and the other half making us coach-types equally proud of them.

Monday:
1) Sleeping mostly all day!
2) Lakeside reuben for dinner...mmmmm...
3) Duncan: "I'm feeling slightly bisexual tonight."
4) Dave (in response to Milkshake by Kelis, in his sheik-wear): "This is the best f*cking song, EVER!"
5) Dave showing his bare ass to the Mill...again.
6) Nicole: "See?!? I can dance!" And then she promptly passes out.
7) Geetha and Liz joining the party!
8) Seeing my girlfriend on Valentine's Day, of course!
9) At least eight hugs! According to Dr. Halbert, I was healthy!
10) Socks and String Cheese!!! Hell yeah!

So yeah, very very exciting. Just a few loose ends to tie up, and all will be right in the world. At any rate, that's enough for now. I'll catch you cats later.
