DON't read this yet. It's terribly unfinished......(My second day-in-the-life. Fourth of July!)

Happy Independence Day!

This is a week or so late, but hopefully you haven't gotten too far out of the patriotic mood to enjoy this post.

This year Rae and Travis had a cookout for the festive occasion and invited everyone, lots i knew, some i did not. I am really weird with people I don't know, so I didn't take a lot of super fun party shots. The only friends that I have made since high school are friends who my friends have made and then introduced them to me. Then by the fifth time they hang out with us i am close to normal around them. Okay, BORING. next...

i woke up to scurvy crying around nine, and got up to let her out shorty after.

i can't believe she let me sleep so late!

when i got up, jamison was already awake watching the lion king.

he watches this movie like every other time he comes over. i mean, whatever, at least its a really good movie. Sarabiiii!

Scurvy can't wait until she has a fence again. She is such a little bebo! Look at that face!

Here is me! My hair isn't too dirty looking yet, but i have so much time to get ready since the party isn't until later.
''

It must be bath time!

yuck. i need to paint my toenails. and get a spray on foot tan while i'm at it.

Puke! Now that i'm all clean i need to fix that face.

I bought this eye shadow pen thing because i saw drew barrymore wearing it. I'm normally not that kind of person, but dang. Something about her modeling make up just makes me want to waste money. Shadow-blasting!

I tried to do something fun/trashy with the red and blue, but in the end it just turned out looking blotchy purple. Oh well. It's fun to do.

Marc made these cinnamon rolls while i was getting ready. He forgot to turn the oven on so they took forever, but they were still really good.

Time to brush my toof!

Time check.

We decided to get out of the house for a bit until it was time to leave for the party. Our costumes didn't feel complete, so we thrifting for some extra red white and blue accessories.

We found a couple pairs of suspenders for fifty nine cents! Score! Now it's back home to snack up.

Marc got this apple sauce from a disaster relief box. I thought it would be gross because I only like Mott's, but OMG. I loved it so much. I read the label and its mostly sugar. No wonder.

Marc's brother, Michael came over on the way to his girlfriend's house. He was wearing HIS patriotic suspenders too! He said he took them from his old school (Independence High). Apparently he got in trouble all the time for sagging his pants (gross) and his principal made him wear these as punishment.

Outfits complete! These are the suspenders that we found at the thrift store. I had no idea girls could wear those things.

Lornch time. Frozen California Pizza.

Time to leave for party!

Mother Mary greeted us on the way in.

Bffs! This is me and rae (obvs).

The table was decorated in appropriate decor and tasty treats. Too bad this was the only shot i got of it.

Marissa and Kyle!

Travis and Marc cooked the food on the grill while we played around outside. It seemed like a billion degrees out there but i couldn't go inside because strangers kept coming and coming! and i was too scared to have to talk to them.

Yorm. Finally it was time to eat.

There were adorable little baskets to put your food in.

After dinner we went outside for the group shot and some more just for fun pictures.

We came inside later to eat "trifle" made by Brittany, and unattentively play harry potter scene-it.

Then when it FINALLy got dark we went outside to play with sparklers!

that was just me playing with the long exposure setting some more.

It's a flag! Can you tell?

As we were about to leave, Rae decided she wanted her bangs cut, and Marissa is our hair cutting expert.

So she had it all ready to trim, and she was holding her hair in the right spot, and she was supposed to cut below her fingers, and she actually cut above her fingers! I'm not explaining this very well. Or maybe too much. I hope you get it.

So she freaks out and says Rae! I'm so sorry! So she cut them too short on accident but it looked good anyways. Plus it was really fun to laugh about.

She was so afraid that Rae was secretly mad at her

She wasn't.

After that fiasco it was time to go home.

Goodbye Rae and Rose!

time to get ready for bed.

And goodnight.
