Stuff and nonsense ...
Have you ever dreamt of someone and wished they were real and not just a fleeting image in a dream? *Sigh*

I'm really fed up of seeing women dancing in bikinis in videos. REALLY. It's not jealousy, and I'm certainly not prudish but I think the women dancing in bikinis thing is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO overdone. It's so unimaginative, so lame, so 'done-before', so ..... just ... BORING! Is this is what's really needed to sell music? Do guys only enjoy a video if it features girls in bikinis?

People notice you when you're loud; if you get into an argument with someone and you're 'loud' people automaically assume you must be the troublemaker. They say "OMG - that person was just shouting, they ranted and raved - they're always shouting, they're always soloud." Why does being a loud person equate to being a bad person for some people?

I've successfully managed to change my image from 'jeans girl' to 'not a jeans girl anymore-girl'. I have to say I love the (what they call) 'Peasant girl' fashion at the moment; Tiered long skirts, natural fibre, cheese-cloth tops, chunky wood and metal jewellery .... I think I've found a new look for myself. That's not to say I don't wear jeans at all anymore - just that I've found a look I like.

The kids have finally broken up for their summer holidays!! Now I have the task of keeping Casey entertained during this time. My mum and my sister of both off to Jamaica next week. Wish we were going too, but I couldn't get the money together. They're doing the whole "business/club class" trip so it's working out pretty pricey, but my sister absolutely POINT BLANK refuses to travel economy. She says her knees still haven't recovered from the last time she flew (a year ago).

Have you ever played a console/computer game and just gotten STUCK? You know, the same monster/problem keeps defeating you each and every time. This is me at the moment. I'm stuck. I've tried, I've failed, and I feel like giving up. Not only that - you have to go through and irritating amount of dialogue before you engage in combat only to be totally annihilated. If ANYBODY reads this and has played FFX PLEASE could you give me your personal tips on how to combat "Seymour Flux". I've had just about enough of his horrible 'annihilation' spells.

Still been amazingly busy recently. My computer died on me many more times, but I found out the source of the problem and fixed it which is a relief!!
Just about to nip off to lunch. Not so busy today, which is nice. I'll have time to actually get into some LJ surfing!
