Rumor Control
This journal seems like the perfect opportunity to keep my finger on the pulse of station events. As they say, knowledge is latinum. Besides, it's hard to keep track of the local gossip without Jadzia around. There are times when I really do miss her.
And speaking about gossip, I want to lay to rest the rumors about myself and a certain Bajoran security chief ... [No, I don't mean Odo! He's a changeling, for Profit's sake--couldn't even make himself a Bajoran nose, for crying out loud. Why people are always pointing and whispering about me and that ill-tempered, prudish ... well, I'm digressing, but you get the point ...] No, I'm talking about Ro Laren, and I want to state for the record that there is absolutely nothing going on between the two of us ... not that she didn't have a thing for me. Who wouldn't? After all, I'm the most successful businessman on this station ... maybe in the whole sector. And not that I didn't appreciate her ... attributes. But monogamy, frankly, is not my thing, and in any case, there's plenty of me to go around. :-)
