(no subject)
1. my camera died for good, but I got a new, better one for not too much money.
2. thanks to jenn webber, my ipod is working wonderfully now.
3. my cell phone's fine now. it was moody, but is ok now.
Last week was a hectic one, but lovely at times. My family came in town for jess' and benjamin's wedding which was last saturday, the 29th.
Thursday I woke up with a little tummy ache, but ignored it for the day, to spend time with my family and such. But by the evening, it was almost impossible for me to stand up, let alone walk. If possible, I probably overdosed on Tums and Pepcid complete. I tried to get to sleep that night, and fell asleep for an hour, then told my parents that it was unbearable. My dad drove me to the hospital, and on the way we got pulled over by a very nice cop. He followed us to the hospital, where I got poked multiple times in the arms. After tests and such, they told me they could rule out anything too serious, gave me medicine through an iv that stung really bad, and told me to go home. I slept fine.
The next day, (day before wedding, rehearsal day) my stomache ache was really horrible again. We went to the regular doctor, who told me to go back to the hospital to get a ct scan. I had to drink a yucky "banana smoothie" then get the ct scan. The rehearsal started at five, and it was getting really close to that time. Finally, the doctor told me that something burst in my stomach, which caused me the pain. They told me they could give me medicine, but that it would make me really drowsy, so we decided against that. I took ibuprofen and we left the hospital at 4:45, and got at the church just in time.
The rehearsal went really well. Then we went to benj's house for the dinner.
The wedding day went very well, too. We got our hair done, nails done, took pictures, performed the ceremony, then the wedding party partied. 6 hours in a hospital later, and I have a brother.
