Houseboats

What a great trip. I am trying to decide if it was the best youth trip I have gone on yet. They are all special for different reasons, and the last Mexico trip was tough to beat, but I think this one did beat it for shear sentimentality. My boat consisted of half graduating seniors- all of which I had got to know fairly well. Last year it was hard to see Tessa and JJ go, but this year is a group of friends that I was close with. Watching each grow in maturity and faith has been amazing and to hear them talk about Rachel influencing their lives was powerful. The affirmation night was phenomenal. I loved to see the healing of relationships and the deepening of others. Nothing incredibly spiritual powerful about the trip as in Mexico, but just great bonding. I always love hanging out with Deb and Emily and it was great to be on their boat, those are just two phenomenal young women. Too many sophmores to meet them all, but at least I know most their names. Bonded with most of the juniors... ahh just to many fun times to name them all. The baptism of Tessa and JJ was just amazing as well- really did make me cry. These trips are just so much fun, usually just love to be home after a week- but this time I really miss it. Perhaps because I have to turn around and start some tough field work tomorrow- blah. I want to hear what everyone else thinks now!
