Things about the tournaments
Canon implies that the tournament only selects children with potential, whether they're from a high-blood family (Vincent Barie, the dragon siblings, Zeon Bell) or from low-lever society (Gorm, Ted, etc). During the whole tournament, the demon children can't access their powers on their freewill, but must be read out loud by their destined human partners. As the tournament's participants grew narrow by them burning each other's spell-book, the winner is crowned king of the demon world.
Magic info
Bookkeeper: Jeed, a middle-age American with a hobby to travel around with his motorcycle.
Spellbook: the Aquamarine book.
Specifics: Ted's spells are purely assisting spells, which is physical upgrades to it's user. However, it only works in order, think of it like gearing a motorcycle. Also, if he wasn't careful, it might also physically exhaust both him and his bookkeeper.
Spell list:
- Doragunara Naguru (First gear)
- Sekan Naguru (Second gear)
- Saazu Naguru (Third gear)
- Forusu Naguru (Fourth gear)
- Fifisu Naguru (Fifth gear)
- Doragunon Dionaguru (Final gear)
Note: currently, Ted has no access to any of his gears whatsoever. He completely relies on the ol' fists, since even without the Naguru spells, he can still lift a boulder twice his size.
Well, almost.
