When you come through the portal, you'll end up at the entrance of the Underworld, right? Well, you'll have four ways you can go. Two ways are sealed off because, aheh, I don't want you there. Another way is 'cross the River Styx to the Underdome, and the other is up a set of stairs to a BRIGHT LIGHT.
You wanna participate? Go across the river. Wanna practice? Up the stairs. I'm oh-so-SURE that little annoying satyr won't mind. Just say the holy boy and his duck and dog sent ya.
But right now? Must make sure they're making the living quarters, you know, aheh, liveable. I don't want my contestants getting SICK after all, and these things take weeks to work with. Unless you die. Or forfeit. By dying.
