Hi! I'm back for the fourth. I'm going back tomorrow, though. I have a correction to make from my last entry. The staff on the cub scout side is almost equally balanced in terms of male and female.
So, last week I had a guest visit me in my tent. I was resting, and I woke up staring into the eyes of a snake. He was pretty little; his head was about the size of a quarter and he was two feet long. He was kind of cute, too. I like snakes. I used to think it would be cool to have a pet snake. Like, a really little one that eats crickets. But I wasn't sure what to do since I've never actually dealt with one, and I didn't know what kind of snake it was. So I yelled that there was a snake with me, and this boy rushes out of his tent and he shouts, "WHERE IS IT?" So I pointed across the tent, and he starts swinging a hatchet at it! He put some nice holes in my floor, but he missed the snake. Then we chased it around my tent for a while until the snake slipped out the side. We tried to find it back so we could relocate it (move it so that it doesn't come back). We lost it, so I moved to a different tent, since that's what the boy suggested. It was just a bull snake, which can be poisonous because of the bacteria in their mouth, but they rarely deliver a fatal bite. I would rather have a bull snake visit than a bunch of spiders. Good news though, my new tent is much better than my old one.
So... I get to watch some fireworks tonight! Yay. Rodney James is playing in old town this afternoon, so hopefully some dancers will be there. And that reminds me; my Birthday lands on a Club Tico dance! So I'll be able to come back on my night off to dance on my birthday! It'll be fun.
