Lalala. I'm in a good mood. It's finally summer vacation- and it's raining.
I love the rain. Nothing makes me feel warmer or drier than being warm and dry while looking outside where it's cold and wet. And there's nothing quite like the sensation of rain falling on your face, if you happen to be outside. The sound is beautiful. The patterns on the window are beautiful. Ah. Rain.
Um. I graduated! As graduation gifts, I was given a blanket (which my grandmother made) that is blue on one side and has lighthouses on the other. I also recieved the Complete Works of Edgar Alan Poe (so that I can properly freak myself out before going to sleep), as well as the Complete Works of Shakespeare (so that I can learn all about the human condition). Oh yeah. I also got the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- which has all six books in it. I just finished reading it. I don't like the way "Mostly Harmless" ends, but other than that, I'm still a huge fan. Correction- I didn't mind Arthur's daughter dying. That was fine. In fact, I really didn't have a problem with everyone dying. I want to know what happened to Zaphod, Marvin, and where the hell Fenchurch went.
My father bought cell phones for the family- it was a family deal, and was pretty inexpensive. So, I have a cell phone now. I have mixed feelings about this. It will be useful- especially when I go to Rhode Island- but I hate cell phones. Gah. I'd post my number on this message, but for some reason that strikes me as a bad idea. I'm only supposed to talk after 9:00PM and on weekends to people who don't have a verizon wireless phone (I'm allowed to talk to people on verizon wireless phones all the time because it's free).
