Life and stuff

It's been an insanely hectic week. I almost died of stress on Wednesday, but alas, purely by a stroke of luck and the kind people at the DMV, I survived. Got my apartment all packed up this weekend and hit the road - and a major blizzard for the first third of the trip. Wow, that was not fun to drive in. I'm now at my parents' house, and I can finally settle down a little. This isn't my final destination, but with the holidays and such, I'll be here for several weeks before continuing East. The Move, Part II, will probably also be stressful, but not nearly as much as The Move, Part I, and I don't have to think about it yet.

That means time to write! And read! And write some more! And stare at the 12 Days of Joe over at Daily Flan. I've got several half days of work coming up between Christmas and New Years, which will be great. Sadly, I ran out of time to read Dresden Book 6, so now I've got to see if I can get my sister to borrow it from the library here for me. I really, all of a sudden, don't have very much to do and it's kind of nice. I can relax (for a couple of days, then go crazy with all of this free time because I like having stuff to do).

My goal this week: get that Help_Pakistan story outline into writing shape.
