NaNo Update
This is what I've learned about my writing habits. When I get off my normal day-to-day schedule, such as go on vacation over the holiday break, I write less not more. Actually, I tend to not write at all.
One day left of NaNo and I've still got about 12,000 words to write to hit the 50K mark. I'm bound and determined to hit 50K, though, so in honor of Thanksgiving vacations, I'm extending my NaNo for a week! I now have until December 7 to get my word count in. The current story is a longish one, and I don't think I'll be anywhere close to wrapping it up. I need to get my Secret Santa story all finalized, but then it's back to writing this story.
Here is the problem with writing a lot: it spawns all kinds of new ideas. I had this list of story ideas that I thought would get whittled down by this NaNo, and now I've got a new and growing list...
