[11] This is Gallifrey; Our Childhood, Our Home.

[VOICE]

[A voice comes over the Mayfield network. It's rather fuzzy, as though it didn't orginate from the phone given to every Mayfield Citizen, but another signal getting picked up by the network.]

I know you're looking for me. But I'm not going back to the Academy. I don't need a TARDIS. I'll travel the universe without one. Just try to bring me back to Gallifrey, just try. You're not going to be able to.

[The line cuts out]

[ACTION]

[All over Mayfield, strange symbols have started appearing across the town. First they covered the tar of the playground and then started appearing on houses and in the middle of street. It appears to be some sort of language, but no one can read it. But if one looks closely they can understand that the symbols are some sort of map. Of the sky perhaps? It's littered with clearly complicated math for calculating distances and points.

Who is the culrpit of this strangeness? It's this young kid, barely nine years old, running around the town staring at the night sky and then writing with chalk on the ground.

A. Maybe you'll catch him writing something on the side of your house.

B. Sitting on a swing at the playground at night, playing around with a small device and occasionally speaking into it. He waits for a reply that never comes.

C. Or maybe you'll see him later in, towards the middle of the night, sitting on the top of the playground at the school, staring down at everything he wrote over the tar field. He shivers occasionally in the cold night air but he keeps looking around nervously and jumping at every suspicious noise.]
