Saturday afternoon
This is a delayed blog but nonetheless...
Yesterday afternoon, I did the groceries again. When I was done moving around, I finally decided to pay. In front of me was just one costumer, but had 3 full carts! As in totally overflowing with bread, canned goods, instant noodles, shampoo, etc you name it. And I got really curious how much the total would be. So after the 3rd cart was done, I moved in and slowly placed my stuff on the counter as the space became available to me.
I was able to glance at the monitor and lo and behold, a quarter of a grand for groceries! haha. PHP25222.25 to be exact. Wow! Haha. That's the most I've seen anyone shop for groceries. But it doesn't stop there. As I was able to finish paying and going out to me my driver, I saw the Highlander of the costumer in front of me, being loaded with the groceries she bought. I think there were at least 2 people helping out. The entire back of the Highlander was filled and there were soome placed on the middle. And I saw cases of softdrinks in can and mineral water still waiting to be stored.
Then I wondered, "How are they going to fit all of that?" Shortly, a Starex arrived and the person driving it, jumps out and says, "Andito na ako, pasok na kayo sa loob." It turns out it was the 2nd vehicle for the softdrinks, and the other items that couldn't fit in the previous vehicle. I was really amazed. Haha. What a sight :P
