April Foo-... oh wait, no...
Well, I haven't gone to bed yet, so it's still the First of April. The fourth month already? Insanity.
I applied to a few jobs today, made a few calls, begged for a few miracles. It was gorgeous outside again, as I took time to notice during lunch, during which Michael practiced a patient interview with me (he had an exam today on that). I was a very promiscuous lush working as a secretary who was experiencing frequent headaches. It would be funny if someone overheard us.
Roseau was a nice experience. Nat & Steph led me to the major retailers and pointed out the American products, ha ha. Hot dogs and chocolate ice cream have been our splurging treat this week. : ) I <3 chocolate ice cream... but not the way I <3 my Michael... Rather, in a more... chocolatey-ice-cream way. Anyway, I am greatly looking forward to returning with Michael, so we can have lunch at one of the cafes and maybe buy Theodore a hat I saw... and splurge on more delicious food items. : D
Last Friday, the girls and I also did a little photo shoot with one of the other spouses, who is a photographer and wanted to fatten her portfolio. Another friend did our make-up, and wow... The whole thing was unforgettable, and a lot of fun. Michael kindly took charge of Theodore while I dressed up, got my make-up done (fun!!), and played "model." : ) Both girls did an amazing job, too... such talent I have never seen before...!
I need to go to sleep. Tomorrow I need to apply to more jobs (hopefully), send in more job-related documents, maybe hit the beach with some of the ladies at 10... we'll see.
