I've been itching to get back into iconning now that the holidays are behind us! Is anyone else planning to go crazy with icons in 2016?

Yessss. That's like my only new year's resolution! Make more icons, participate more, be a better mod.... post to my actual journal more.

Hopefully... January is sooo busy right now. 20muses, 10in30, I also joined a Doctor Who battle... plus Round 13 at disneykrumakes. The whole reason I'm starting the round on Jan 8th is because I'm afraid people won't join with all the new comms and such, so I'm hoping a later date will help.

I just have to remember to make icons and not worry about points ^__^;;;; I got so hung up on trying to use every technique in that first cs rumble that I lost the fun in it. (I'm not asking you to cater your challenge or anything! just explaining why my icons totally sucked that challenge :] )

Yeah, I'm super excited about all these new challenges. I personally need deadlines in order to get anything done. I don't think I'd ever get around to making icons if it weren't for challenges and 20in20 comms XD

The challenge I'm planning will be super low pressure and hosted here on my personal journal. Everyone who signs up pitches in a screencap and then everyone has to make one icon per cap. You can check out the results of the last one over here~

Deadlines are the only way I can ever get any icons made, so I expect I'll rely on more cap battles and challenges at calendarsquares to keep me motivated throughout the year XD
