Wow, actually, I love the subtle and soft coloring - it looks so much more natural! I always end up using a ton of color fill layers and stuff when I make icons, so the end image always looks nothing like the original, like I lost the essence of it. (Too much selective color D:) And I've never used visible to help enhance the image, so I've definitely got to try it~

It was one of those things where I wanted to keep the beauty of the artwork, and just make it super simple. The coloring of this icon took me forever, because I wanted it to be a really pretty icon DX it's so much harder to make a really pretty icon when I'm trying

I'm glad this is helpful~ I use GIMP for my graphics, so I'm not quite sure how the Selective Color tool works, but this is my most common way of fixing colors in images XD

The New from Visible is amazing. I use it all the time because it's so much easier to adjust things when you can just fiddle with Opacity and such.

LOL, I'm sure there are much better ways of getting soft, pretty coloring, but this is the way I do it XD
But I'm glad it's helpful~

omg my thoughts exactly, my best icons are always accidental LOL Ugh, I know that feeling. I always feel like I never have the right coloring, and even when I want to keep it simple, it get really complicated. It takes me forever to finish an icon, I have icon paranoia or something. XD

On a side note, your icon made me smile :)

Beautiful coloring. I like how the colouring is nice and soft. It's a bit tricky to achieve this sort of effect with anime screencap. Thank you so much for sharing ♥

Thank you so much! I enjoy the softer coloring effect, so that's usually what I try to fall back on when I make icons XD
