(no subject)
Well, today was beautiful outside, Jenny and I did school on the trampoline. It was soooo nice to be outside. Chip helped Jen with math.
At 5:30 I get a phone call from home that my dogs have been in a fight (Lady and Jazmin) and there's blood. Just what I wanted to hear...so I rushed home and heard the whole story. Long story short--Jazmin got her front left pad torn. So, by this point all the vets are closed and so I took Jazz to the emergency vet (which wasn't cheap, I might add) and she got stitches to sew her pad back together and a cast-like bandage.
Come to find out, Jazmin instigated the fight. Lady has always been the Alpha dog (honestly, she always will be)...I don't know what Jazz was thinking. Maybe she wasn't thinking too clearly--that she actually thought she could take on Lady. I've noticed Jazmin sorta challenging Lady lately. But I just kinda blew it off. Next time I won't blow it off--I will scold Jazmin for challenging Lady. Jazz just needs to let Lady be the Alpha dog...mainly because she would never win a fight against Lady.
Anyway, tonight Jazz is very sleepy (from the sedative the vet gave her) and she is in the doggie tent for the night. Mainly to keep her from jumping around on her foot. Maybe tomorrow I'll take pics of her cast/bandage...it's purple :o)
