Hello again - yeah I'm hale and hearty !
Someone e-mailed me the other day - asking whether I was 'still breathing' ... and YES, I am !
Like most of my old LJ 'friends', I got distracted away from LJ - as the 'social network' diseases spread. Apart from having a largely-neglected Facebook accont, I haven't been eaten up by mindless things like "twitter" - I'll leave that to Rick Sanchez (RIP) and similar half-wits.
But I do miss the LJ format of posting longer thought-out entries - a sort of 'diary' where I kept notes for eventual inclusion in my 'still-being-worked-on' memoirs. Perhaps I'll return to this LJ option where I can again begin to collect ideas as they occur. I don't seem to have the discipline to just sit down and concentrate on my writing. Maybe an entry on my latest adopted Korean grandson, Isaac, would be in order. Or an account of Sandra and my February month in Chile - leaving just 2 days before the earthquake. Lots of news !!
