(no subject)
It's been quite some time since I have even felt like posting here. I have been reading and sometimes even commenting in the LJ world, but haven't felt inclined to participate past that level.
Let's see... we made it through four weddings this year, two of which were J's siblings, and celebrated our own wedding anniversary. I have taken up quilting again and I am enjoying it too much. I finished a wedding quilt for one sibling and am working on another. Yes, they are late, but they knew their gifts were coming late. Not to mention the other wedding gift I am late in giving... knitting goes so much slower than sewing. Luckily, the recipients are understanding.
So to show off (though I only have lame cell phone pix):

Finished with binding and backing:
I just finished this square today. It's one of four and the finished size of the quilt should be 76"x76" I am crazy proud of it. It's Christmas fabrics
In non quiltiness, Henson (our rat) is getting older and I worry about him, though he seems to be nice and stubborn, so that's good.
The cats are the same... they're cats.
I am getting sleepy though, so now I am off to sleep... goodnight :)
