Oooey Gooey Cheesy Goodness

I'm back to blogging again! With only 4 more days left till school starts again, I thought of making the most of my last few days of holiday. So that translates to baking and more baking! I love browsing through all the pictures on TasteSpotting and FoodGawker , each time i get on my mac, i never never fail to click on those pages just to stare at all the food, and be inspired.. Today, while bumming around at home, feeling exceedingly tired from a horrible training earlier this morning, i suddenly found myself thinking of the homemade pizzas featured on tastespotting. The cheesy goodness, the mountains of toppings.... And I felt like making it from scratch, that way, you can add as much ingredients as you want. Pity i don't have premium ingredients at home to make an Artisan Pizza, the ones that chan melly dreams of, with caviar and truffles...

I only had ham and cheese at home so, we had to make do with it, but don't be stingy on the cheese!!!! It makes the pizza awesome.

Pizza Dough (adapted from ifood.tv)

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry instant yeast
2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 cup lukewarm water
your choice of toppings

In a mixing bowl, combine bread flour, salt, and instant yeast.
Mix them well.
Add water, mix well.
Add olive oil, knead the dough with fingers for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle little amount of flour on top of dough to prevent stickiness.
Divide the dough in half, shape into balls.
Place 1 ball in a small bowl, spray with oil to prevent drying.
Place dough in a warm area (you can warm up your microwave for a bit and leave the dough inside), make sure you cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and allow it to rise for 1-2 hours.
When dough has risen, flatten the dough on your baking pan.
Add your choice of ingredients as toppings.
Preheat oven to 500-550 degrees F. (I used 250 degrees C)
Bake for 7-10 minutes.
Let it cool for a few minutes, slice.

The final product!!!!
