Piper and Lindsey's Apartment, LA - Sunday
"Oh my god, I won?"
Piper was hanging out in the kitchen with Lindsey. She'd been cooking something, another experimental recipe, when she took a break for a moment to take part in a radio contest. It was on a whim, and she didn't think she'd actually win. She never won things. Not like this. In this case, it was tickets to a Kings game.
One thing about Piper and Lindsey? They didn't exactly have a lot in common, yet they just worked out. They'd been together for nearly ten years (!) now, despite not having a lot in common. But this was one thing they did share an interest in. They'd become fans of the team since they'd been living in LA. She liked to refer to it as "their thing." The thing they both found together. it was actually kind of sweet.
It looked very much like they'd be going to another game in the near future. Winning anything in general was exciting, though.
