Piper was glad to have a job that mostly didn't require her to work on weekends. This just happened to be one of those lucky weekends off. Today was her birthday. She didn't want to spend it at the restaurant preparing birthday dinners for other people. Really.
Her tradition hadn't changed, either. She'd gone to a local bakery and got herself a single birthday cupcake. Just because she wasn't in the same dimension didn't mean that had to change. Besides, she was very happy with her life right now as well as her current living situation.
