Hyperion, Thursday Afternoon
Piper had been bored since she graduated last month. So when she realized there were job openings at her high school alma mater, she quickly jumped at the opportunity. Actually getting the job was pretty exciting. It would also be good preparation for restaurant school. Surely it would give her a little bit of an advantage.
So now she was deciding what she was going to pack and take with her to Fandom. It wasn't too early to think about these things! As she sat down to send an email to Paige letting her know, Kit chose that moment to jump up on her desk.
"Hi," she said to cat, giving her a bemused look. "Do you want to go with me?"
Kit replied by walking onto the laptop keyboard and plopping down like cats do.
