Piper had been sitting by the phone for much of the day, hoping to hear more news from Fandom. Dr. Jones had handwavily with permission let them know earlier about Veronica's condition, and Piper was staying nearby in case there were any more phone calls. With Angel in a coma and Veronica sleeping and possibly dreaming about some weird alternate universe, everyone in the hotel seemed to be on edge.

She, and probably everyone in Fandom, would be relieved when this was all over.
