Piper and Veronica's Apartment, Friday

Piper was currently in flail-mode. There were assignments due in all of her classes, finals were coming up very soon, she had papers to write. That would be why the dining room table was covered with books, research materials, and her laptop. The table probably wouldn't be seen again until the semester was over

Veronica walked into the kitchen and started a pot of coffee. "Finals need to be over."

"They so do," Piper agreed. "I wonder if there's a way for me to use magic to make them be over without personal gain consequences. Maybe if I word the spell a certain way..."

"Do you really want to take that risk?" Veronica asked.

[cookinggeek]

"Probably not," Piper sighed. "I hate this time of year."

"So do I," Veronica agreed.

"And I need to decide what I'm going to do this summer."

Piper gave her a curious look. "Got a vacation planned or something?"

"My professor is really getting on me about doing that internship with the FBI this summer," Veronica said.

"Think you might do that?" Piper asked.

[marsheadtilt]

"I don't know," Veronica said. "I know it would be an amazing opportunity. But I'm not sure I want to spend the summer alone in DC."

"Well, there's always the cosmic taxi service," Piper smirked.

Veronica smirked back. "True. But it would be lonely."

"Well, if you do it, I could visit whenever," Piper said. "We could even do a road trip or something out that way."

"You and me driving cross country in a hot little convertible?" Veronica said. "That could be fun."

"It definitely would be," Piper said. "Never did the road trip across the entire country before."

[marsheadtilt]

"Me either," Veronica said. "You know, there are a lot of classy restaurants in the DC area."

"I've heard that," Piper said thoughtfully.
