Little Mermaid Cake
Known and loved by many polish honey layered cake - this time in the shape of Little Mermaid. As many of you know, I don't take orders for the cakes anymore - no time baby! But for my favourite niece's birthday I am prepared to stay up all night :)

Little Mermaid Cake is a variation of traditional Barbi Cake. I just don't like barbies, only real dolls :)
We will need to bake quite a few circular layers of different diameter for the skirt - same idea as in Guitar Cake.
Make a whole in each layer using a cookie cutter or a drinking glass and stack them up from biggest to the smallest alternating with cream filling
Make the stack as high, as your doll's waist, or a little higher
I am using a usual rubber doll - it will need to be thoroughly washed, hair must go up, the bottom part must be wrapped in food grade plastic - cling wrap here
Now the doll is ready to put on her skirt!
The skirt still looks quite ugly - we will need to cut the excess using serated knife and smoothen the skirt up using left over filling and a spatula
And one-two-three - have fun decorating! We used regular marshmallow foundant, cut marshmallows, sprinkles and creamcheese frosting for the bottom frills of the skirt!
Also, our doll was holding a candle in each hand, as my darling niece turned 2!
