Well, tonight is leftover night, but here's what we had earlier this week:

09/27/14 White wine. Pan-grilled boneless chicken breasts. Wild Blend Sauté (using Lundberg Wild Blend rice mix). Crudités: jícama, cucumber, red bell pepper and radish.

09/28/14 Beer. Pork Chops Supreme (pork chops baked with a topping of one onion slice, one lemon slice, one Tbsp. brown sugar and one Tbsp. ketchup). English baked potatoes (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/English-Baked-Potatoes). Steamed string beans, with butter. Bagged mesclun salad.

09/29/14 Cold, pan-grilled boneless chicken breasts (intentional leftovers from earlier in the week) over bagged salad with cut-up crudités mixed in. Apple Crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

09/30/14 Sweet Italian sausage with mustard, served over mashed potatoes. Bagged mesclun salad with cut-up baby bell peppers on top.

10/01/14 Spaghetti and Clams (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Spaghetti-and-Clams/Detail.aspx). Summer squash salad (¼ recipe, from Best of Taste of Home, basically julienned zucchini and yellow squash, sliced radishes and a dill vinaigrette). Leftover apple crisp, warmed in the microwave.

Coming up Saturday, we have: Red wine. Hungarian Goulash over egg noodles. Mashed butternut squash. Crudités. Portuguese bread (from the bakery) with butter. Tapioca pudding with a dab of jam in the middle.
