Looking for a Swedish Strawberry Cake recipe!

Hello everyone! A few days ago my kid came to me and said she wants me to make Jordgubbstårta (Swedish Strawberry Cake) for her birthday and I told her that it would be fine because I thought I had a recipe. Turns out I lost my recipe in the move and I can't seem to find it anywhere online so I came here hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. What I remember of the recipe is that it had a homemade strawberry whipped cream and no custard or almond shreds on it. It had a cake recipe to that did not call for a boxed mix at all. I also remember that it took all day to make because you had to make the cakes, cool them completely, and then make the strawberry whipped cream and put that in the fridge for a while.

That is all I remember so any help at all would be wonderful even if it is just another recipe. Since her birthday is next Saturday please only give me recipes that have been tested but do not involve a boxed mix! I don't really have time to test things for myself sadly. Thanks!

help: how to, help: menus, help: what to make, dessert: cake, method: baking
