Versatile Meatballs

I've got a bunch of ground beef and I'm looking to make a basic meatball then freeze and use for either spaghetti or sweet and sour meatballs or something yet to be determined. My hubby is currently working evenings, so I'd like to be able to pull just a couple out for myself.
Any recipies or tips on how to do this? I was thinking I would freeze them on a cookie sheet then put them in ziploc bags.
