Helloooo!

Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd post a what's up to ya! I am Anisa and, among a ton of other things, I teach aphrodisiac cooking classes/workshops in Atlanta (we feature recipes inspired by different cultures around the world). So I will probably be posting all kinds of recipes! I look forward to seeing some great new recipes and input from fellow foodies!

Oh, and here is a recipe I've been working on. It's been a hit so far!

Indian Lentil and Pumpkin Seed Hummus
½ Cup Dry Lentils
1/8 cup Pumpkin Seeds*
2 Cloves Garlic*
1 tsp Fresh Ginger
2 tbs Lime Juice
¼ Cup Olive Oil
1 tsp Cumin
½ tsp Ground Coriander
¼ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Cayenne
Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper

*edit!* I usually cook the dry lentils in 1 1/2 cups of water for 20 minutes.

Put all ingredients in a food processor or blender and enjoy! For a smokier flavor, toast the pumpkin seeds on the stovetop.
