Food that doesn't need refrigeration

My fiance & I are planning on buying a 'Discovery' ticket through Grayhound this year & taking a 15 day trip. We won't have access to kitchen tools (fridge, oven, microwave, etc) so I'm going to need foods that don't need refrigeration & that I can prepare in advance

Any suggestions? I have a dehydrator, so I already plan on making beef jerky, but I'm having trouble thinking of other foods that we could take with us & that would last for a few days. Suggestions?
